About
The Regenerative Agriculture Mentoring Program was developed by a team from Southern Cross University with the support of the NSW Government through their Environmental Trust grants program.
Program aim
This is a unique program which supports collaborative learning in a small group environment to better understand farming systems, that is specific to the context of each region.
This program is designed to increase awareness of regenerative agriculture and the principles and practices that are available to better manage landscapes. It does this by matching farmers with mentors who are recognised for their expertise in regenerative agriculture.
As part of the program, resources are developed by Southern Cross University, the first university in the world to offer a degree in Regenerative Agriculture, with mentees having direct access to mentors, and the wealth of experience they have in the local area. This process can help validate ideas, increase exposure to different networks, accelerate business productivity, lower costs and support farm scale sustainability.
The RAMP team
The RAMP team has included so many people of the last three years – more than we have included here. We thank everyone for their rich and valuable contributions to this program. RAMP is what it is because of the people involved.
