Testimonial & feedback
The RAMP program facilitated over 100 farmers in NSW to transform their on-farm practices and their farming thinking to regenerative agriculture. This is what they had to say about RAMP.
One of the best things to come from this program was the connection to like minded people all striving to do better in their own ways. It’s great to brainstorm and share stories and advice. It was a great program and I am very grateful to have been involved. Thank you!

RAMP's group mentoring model was very beneficial to all involved. Agriculture can be so isolating, group mentoring facilitates a new work of professional peers to engage and learn with.

After participating in the RAMP, I think group mentoring is excellent as each member asks different questions relevant to their context and it builds a sense of community.

I expected it to be a lot harder, a lot more personal and a lot more practical. I was somewhat daunted by these expectations! It has been a fantastic, thought provoking experience and a catalyst for many changes and improvements in my land management and relationship practices. The relationships and knowledge gained are re-invigorating my mindset within my current context.

Group mentoring is key in holding the space for participant learning and sharing in RAMP. They help keep the focus of the group, and bring a sense of professionalism that elevates the learning, beyond what a group of peers alone might achieve. Their training also lifts the scattering of lessons learned along the journey into the principles of practice within holistic management and regen ag.

RAMP was a great way to share knowledge among a group of farmers with different skills and experiences rather than only relying on the expertise of one mentor. No one had all the answers but it was great to be able to discuss different experimental approaches among a community of Northern Rivers farmers and feel as if we were all trying to work it out together.
