Benefits of RAMP
After completing RAMP, the mentee has become highly knowledgeable in key facets of regenerative agriculture. They have learnt the strategies necessary to maintain ground cover effectively, which not only serves as a protective shield against erosion but also mitigates soil loss. This knowledge equips them with practical tools to preserve the integrity of their farmland and enhance its long-term productivity, ensuring the sustainability of their agricultural practices.
Moreover, the mentee has developed a profound understanding of the benefits derived from increasing species diversity across their farmland. Beyond theoretical knowledge, they appreciate the practical applications of this principle, recognising its role in fostering ecological resilience, improving soil health, and enhancing crop productivity.
Their grasp of the significance of species diversity positions them to implement strategies that create more sustainable and robust agricultural systems, aligning with the principles of regenerative agriculture. In doing so, our mentee is poised to make a meaningful contribution to the promotion and implementation of regenerative agriculture practices, ultimately advancing the uptake of regenerative agriculture in their region.
